In my studies and since I started at OSP I've always used Vue.js. I've built multiple Projects with it and I'm a big fan. Mostly I use it in combination with Vite, Pinia, Typescript and Vuetify plus Tailwind CSS for styling. I've also built some smartphone apps using Vue as a Progressive Web App which has been quite fun.

This is the backend language I feel most comfortable with and I've used it by far the most in recent times. During my studies I used Java together with JavaFX to build a tool for nurses in old people's homes to select questions for a quiz for the elderly and load them into a web application. At OSP I use Java as my backend language of choice for most projects. I've used it a few times together with Spring Boot but recently I've been using Quarkus for most of my projects.

As a seasoned database user, I find myself gravitating towards PostgreSQL time and time again, and it isn't without good reason. Firstly, its open-source nature means it’s not only free but backed by a community of talented developers constantly fine-tuning its mechanics. This ensures a level of transparency and security that is hard to match. Secondly, Postgres offers remarkable scalability, adeptly handling both small projects and large enterprise applications with ease. Its performance is simply unmatched, with complex queries executed swiftly, saving me invaluable time and resources.
